There is about 92% of water in watermelon, so that this fruit can be a great solution to keep dogs cool in hot summer. However, remember to remover the rind and seeds before using it for your lovely pet.

Grapes: While grapes are favorite fruit for humans, they are indicated to not be used for dogs. This kind of fruit has bad effects on dog’s breed, sex and age, so that people should avoid using this toxic fruit for theirs.

Berries: It can’t help mentioning to berries fruits such as strawberries and blueberries, not cherries because they have essential nutrition for dogs. They have a great number of fiber and vitamin C with enzyme to make dog’s teeth whiten when eating them. In addition, they are very high of sugar, so be careful to let them use in moderation.

Oranges: Well, this kind of fruit is very easy to eat for dogs because they can even eat the whole. Besides providing lots of vitamin C, oranges are also a hydrated treat for dogs in hot summer.

Vegetables:

Carrots: That is a right decision to use carrots in daily meals for dogs because they are low of calories but very rich of fiber and beta-carotene – another name of vitamin A. Moreover, people can easily make carrots as snacks for dogs without wasting too much time.

Tomatoes: If carrots are good for dogs, tomatoes are dangerous for them. This kind of veggie is proved to not be safe because it contains a toxic substance named solanine. If unluckily dogs eat this fruit, they may get sick afterward. Thus, be careful to add tomatoes in their diet.

Broccoli: Broccoli is very common to use for humans, and luckily, it is also safe with dogs. However, it should be supplement a small amount of broccoli in dog’s meals to keep them healthy.

Cucumbers: This is a great solution for overweight dogs because cucumbers have a little fat and oil, which may boost small energy in case they are hungry. In addition, they also provide many necessary substances such as vitamins K, C, and B1, potassium, copper, magnesium and biotin.
